What is a MakerSpace?

"What is a MakerSpace?” you ask.  A MakerSpace is a place that provides opportunities for anyone to explore individual interests.  It provides various prompts, materials, and tools, for participants to learn about, explore, create, and build various projects.  It encourages independent thinking and problem-solving as well as perseverance. Participants have opportunities to work at a variety of stations that can include anyting from 3D printing and design, paper making, sewing, electronics, programming, and deconstruction (taking apart electronics components), to whatever their individual imagination and innovation leads them.
